On Saturday, March 8, 2025, Madam Nora G. Bowier, the Deputy Managing Director of Community, Conservation, and Carbon, broke ground for the construction of five units in Konia, Lofa County. These units will include offices and residences for the Chief Park Warden (CPW) and Rangers. The project is funded by Fauna and Flora International and aims to enhance the Rangers' ability to monitor the Wonegizi Forest Reserve.
